Do the math, you morons!!!

Here is a prime example of WHY the US Postal Service is going broke and its employees are going to be getting pink slips by the dozens.

I work in an "unincorporated" town . . . what bearing this has on the federal postal service, I have no idea but the postal employees credit that fact with their idiotic policy about which I am going to gripe.

My employer has a post office box at the local post office.  I picked up the mail today to see a notice of postal box fee due and owing.  I went to the counter and asked if the fee is waived because our office is not serviced by a postal delivery person.

The answer? No.

Okay. So not only do they NOT delivery our mail to our address which in turn requires us to have apost office box but they are FORCING us to pay the box rental fee.

No wonder UPS and FedEx are kicking the USPS out of business. The USPS sucks.

Cuz We Can! nanna nanna

I know I'm a little slow on the draw with this one but I just now came across the news article about it.

Apparently the Democrat-heavy House passed a resolution of disapproval of Rep. Joe Wilson (S.C.). You remember him - the fella that shouted out "YOU LIE!" while Obama was jive talking his way around the "there will be no government healthcare for illegal aliens" issue during his socialized medicine commercial a few weeks back.

Hmmm.  The Democrats pass a resolution because someone spoke a truth that just happens to be in opposition to the Democrats' position?  Yeah, because THAT'S such a productive way for our elected officials to spend their time on our dime.

EEE-gads!

I am no fan of Obama. No surprise there.

But really? The media is going to whip itself into a frenzy because Michelle Obama wore shorts to the Grand Canyon?

Remember in "Back to the Future II" where Marty goes forward to 2015? Doc tells him how the justice system works swiftly in the future now that they've abolished all lawyers.

Here's a thought: Let's abolish the media. Can't believe about 95% of the crap they're dealing us anyway.

There are several things that remind me that it is once again election time around here but nothing so much as the boneheads who continually drive past our humble abode looking to see what they can see about where we live and what we have.

We live on a dead end road so we always get the two-fer deal. Drive by once, you gotta drive by twice to get out.

You'd think people would have better things to do with their time.
