"The Pursuit of Happyness" starring Will Smith
This movie was so heartwrenching and spirit-lifting at the same time. I found myself wringing my hands for the main character, just willing something good to come his way.
It is very definitely worth the rental. Possibly even consider adding it to your personal movie library.
